I have 3 female guppies and 2 of the them are very fat i know this should mean that they are pregnant but they have been like this for a month now! Any idea;s what could be up. I what to put them into breeding tanks but i don't want to put them in if they are not pregnant.

I read that it can take from 21 to as many as 40 days for guppies to give birth. I have two that have been quite fat for awhile now as well.

See the belly,if there is a black spot,chances are it is pregnant.

well if u can wait a month, surely u can wait for 2 months.
hehe. by then the babies would come out.
i remembered when i saw my female guppies getting fat, i checked every day or once a while to look for babies.
