I'm sick and tired of Petsmart!
The latest in the saga of The Idiot Who Wouldn't Learn (that would be me):
I brought home two hornwort plants for my aquarium. I asked the child who served me if there were any hidden critters, and she said no. I told her I'd brought critters home from Petsmart before and I wanted to be sure. She said "we had a meeting last night and the manager said these plants don't have any snails." Fine. I trusted that.
Fool.
I don't know WHAT these eggs are for, but there are scores of whitish eggs on the plants, and some have migrated to the aquarium walls. I inspected the plants carefully, or so I thought, before putting them into the aquarium. Then I rinsed them well, or so I thought.
The eggs are a tad smaller than the head of a round-headed pin. They're quite obvious. One doesn't have to squint or use a magnifying glass to see them.
Anyone have any idea what they are?
Will my clown loaches eat them?
Are they fish eggs that have nothing to do w/ the plants? I have two platies, two cories, and two clown loaches.
And while I'm at it: can anyone recommend a reputable LFS in Southern Maryland?
