i have a 29 gal with aponogeton and rotala, 2 black kuhlis, 3 otos, 1 hillstream loach. would it be ok to add 2 baby convicts? if not, how about 1?

another question, would 2 convicts be a good fit in a 20 gal?
 
Nope...I'd only put a single Con in the tank--but not with plants. How about finishing off the shoals of some of the fish in there instead?
 
Wouldn't work for long in the 29, the convicts would eventually if not right away start beating on everything in there. and a 20 is pretty tight for a pair of con's I have a pair in a 29 and if you ask me from my obersavation's its kinda tight, they will be getting the 55 once my girlfriend and I get a place together and the Jag gets his 220:D
 
what about the 3 spot gourami? if those are ok, how many would be good to get? i just want fish that'll swim around in the middle or top, since all i have is bottom dwellers....
 
One three-spot might work...I don't see two gouramies getting along in a 29g, unless they were dwarves.
