And is this normal for them to host a button polp?

Thanks for the reply at atnixon.
It stays in there for a few minutes then goes off looking what appears to be food then goes back to the polyp again.

Thanks atnixon.
Will it do any harm to the polyp at all?

perfectly normal for your clown. Those are good pictures. Don't be alarmed when your clown develops small black or brown spots. That is from being stung by the polyps and will eventually disappear.

Eeeek coral stings don't like the sound of that.:headshake2:
Is there any other coral my clowns will host without the coral stings?

The clown fish are fine with the coral stings, they are quite different from other fish due to their skin and cover....This is something that they get use to and learn to live with. Hence the reason why it is rare for another fish to host a nem or a coral, they cant adapt to the stings...

So, there is nothing to worry about..
