I currently have a common pleco, bristlenose pleco, tiger pleco, 3 cories, 7 neons, and 4 serpae tetras in my 72g. What big fish can I put in it?

Sounds pretty close to maxed out with all the bottom-dwellers (plecos and the like...)

I see that it's well-planted, but I wouldn't add what would be considered a large fish. A school of harlequin rasboras would be awesome in that tank, though!

ditching the common pleco would reduce bioload leaving room for something interesting and fairly peaceful. my favorite is nicaraguan cichlid. but i find the severum and the uaru to be interesting too. i think gold severums are actually the albinos in that fish. you would think they would be more inbred if its a recessive gene trait.
i think the uaru would tear up your plants though. my nicaraguans dont shred them but one of them sleeps in them.
on a side note:
game 7's tear me up. i get nervous and then my dog gets nervous. i'd get ulcers if i was a devils fan.

Well, do you plan on keeping all your other fish? With the neons present you can only go but so big..how about a pair of pearl gouramis? They would fill in the top area of the tank nicely and wouldn't eat the neons.

Big and neon do not usually go together. I think pearls would be you best option, as they are extremely peaceful. A severum would not work, bc they would eat the neons. Same with uaru
I didn't know uaru and sev's were that quick:confused: ;)

I just wanted something a little bigger than the Serpae tetras. I will of course keep my common pleco, he is probably my favorite because I have had him for so long. I had about 9 neons a while ago, then, about 3 weeks ago, I added 10 more, bringing my total up to 19. Everything was fine for about a week or so, and then little by little, I noticed them disappearing. Now there are about 7 which is the same number for about 2 weeks. I checked everywhere, and I didn't see any except one which I scooped out. I checked my water and everything was fine.

I like the idea of the pearl gouramis, you might alos try moonlight gouramis. they sure are purdy :)
