i just wanted to know if there were any people in ohio to deal with selling and buying...i know i saw some one from athens and a few from newark....
I live in Newark....
There should be an Aquarium Adventure in Clevend right? Why not try there?

hello. i am the one from athens, but since i am in college, i travel all around the state. i am currently in my hometown of ashtabula, which is about an hour east of you. i would love to hear about different stuff that you have available, but since i am still new to this, i don't have a lot of stuff to get rid of. it is nice to see someone from ohio on here. most everyone i see is from ct or ny.

well i dont have anything right now but i just want to know whos in ohio so in the future i can say to myself...well this person and that person are near me....so if any of us sees some sweet deals we can tell one another...glad to hear from you ohioans!!!browns actually squeaked the win out today!!

Last I knew I lived in Ohio...what was the name of that city....oh yeah...Cleveland it is...East Side...can spit into Euclid...
Aquarium Adventures isnt worth the hassle...RMS might be though...the one in Middleburg Heights is hte best of the lot...I am near the one in Willoughby and its not worth the drive most times...
For fish...I dot bother...a buddy owns a wholesaler in Wickliffe and I just go there..although I generally dont need to buy fish...its nice to see whats out there...
Theres a few other places as well..and some real good fish clubs aroudn here with good auctions mainly in good weather.
Lemme know what you need to find..maybe I can assist somehow.

euclid....my mom used to work at a dialysis center out there....im off 71 on west 130th....i go to the rms on engle....and broadview....glad to know your close bro.....

I'm from Ohio also, near Dayton. Nice to see the rest of Ohioians on the board. Where can I find a list of fish auctions in the state? Thanks.

I live near athens now, but grew up near Halloran park off of W. 117th. in Cleveland.
There is an Aquarium Adventure in Columbus. THey have a really large selection of stuff, but I've had livestock that have died from them. Byerly's on W. 5th Ave. in Columbus has awesome livestock! (if you are ever in the area)

my church is right down the street from halloran....cooley ave. church of god.....also my girl lives on the oppossite side of halloran on linnet.

bhray, where in athens are you? i'm an ou student and i stay down there year round.
Artic - that's the neighborhood where i grew up. I lived on Marne Ave. (parents still do) which is 3 blocks south of the church. I know the church - went there on 2 separate occasions back in the early 70's.
Chris - I live near Albany actually. Which lfs do u use, if any. in the area.

I am from ohio I live 42 miles North of cincinnati..In a little town called Trenton..Kinda med size though ..We don't have Mcdonalds but we do have a United Dairy Farmers and Dominos..LOL

I'm in Ohio. From a little place called Millersburg, about 30 minutes south of Wooster, and about 45 minutes south of Canton. You know, the Amish area. Not a whole lot around these parts, and definitely not fish stores.

I'm from Ohio as well. I live in Marion, it's around an hr north of Columbus. There are quite a few clubs around here including SWOAPE. It's in the dayton area though. Contact me if you want more info. Also, I usually have plants to sell or trade.

I just moved BACK to Lakewood, where I was born. I do livebearers. I am just getting back into the hobby, I was out for a while concentrating on the dogs. I used to have Discus, what a ways they have come in 15 years. First thing I tried to do was get my blue eyed Pleco back...Who knew I should have kept him as an investment!
I use RMS, I used to live in Olmsted Twp when the dad started it out of his back yard green houses. Aquarium adventures must not be the same here. They had very little stock. The tanks all seemed to have issues. I found some really strang cory cats in one tank, albinos with high dorsal fins. $2. But the stock was all dying off. There were a number of associates there, but they did not have tiome to wait on me...(ended up going to RMS for a complete 75 gal set up...)
I also stopped at Something Fishy. Now that is a good place to go. HE even gets wild stock(Plecos!) I feel he knows what he is talking abouttoo- except when did they start keeping Discus at 88* and 50% water changes daily? This guy mostly concentrates on cichlids and bottom cleaners(cats, Plecos,etc)
If anyone knows where to get GOOD breeding stock of live bearers, I could use the info. I am also trying to find a few nice Discus, but smaller and less expensive ones- about 2" would be good. If all goes well, I should be able to offer a few guppies here and there. Right now they are just store quality fancies, The grow out tank is full.

im in groveport, its about 10-15 minutes south of columbus. best store in columbus is aquarium adventure, very good selection, decent quality, other than that, the jack's in canal winchester is pretty good. anyone with fish or plants for sale in the columbus area give me a shout.

Huron, Ohio here. Right next to Sandusky. Not a lot of great fish stores to visit up here. Always looking for new ones to go to. There is a very nice little shop in Sandusky called L&S Aquatics though.

I was in there the other day, he never has discus. He usually has a variety of plecos but I didn't really look when I was in there. But it wouldn't hurt to check it out, I think he gets his new stock in on Friday, so Saturday would be a good day to check.
