I just bought the hagen test solutions for both hardness tests and the nitrate test so could anyone post the colour bars and amount of solution required for each test?

The color bars cannot be posted online.
Different monitors will show them as different colors, and different scanners would scan them different as well.
There should be something in the instructions.
You can always order new stuff like that from Hagen.

I only have the solutions, my LFS sells the solutions from across the counter

Not to wise...
What you may have to do is try to return those and get one Hagen test kit, then use the solutions from 'across the counter' if you run out. As I have never run out of solutions however - and I'm sure there is some other reason you did what you did - this may not be practacle.
So, as I said before, try going to Hagen's website and seeing if they will mail you the cards and sample test stuff - but tell them that something happened to the originals - I'll let you make up the story, just make it good, say your kid ate it or something - and they should comply.

I have done this before with the ammonia and nitrite test solutions. I already have one of the test kits so I have all the stuff. I just need the colour bars. I'm aware each solution requires 5 drops.

Rocketman is correct, getting the color bars from someone online will not give you accurate colors. Too many variables; your monitor, your printer, the scanner, etc. They all display & render color differently. Best to get a card sent from Hagen. (believe me, I work in the printing industry & deal with color every day)
I have a Hagen Nitrate test kit, you do not put 5 drops of each solution in. The instructions are as follows:
Take a 5ml sample of the water to be tested.
Add 5 drops of Reagent #1 and 5 drops of Reagent #2. Shake well.
Shake Reagent bottle #3 vigorously for 5 seconds. Add 3 drops of Reagent #3. Shake again.
Wait 5 minutes for color to develop. Shake again and compare to color chart.
Hope this helps.

Different tests have different procedures. Do you know the names of the reagents you've purchased? Muriatic acid. Bromthymol blue. etc.

For Hagen GH and KH kits you need to and one drop at a time and shake after each drop. Once the color chages from pink to blue for the GH kit and from blue to yellow for the KH kit, the test is complete.

and it's how many drops times 20 for the Gh and same times 10 for the Kh right?

Then couldn't someone do a quick one in paintbrush?

You are correct. 20 for GH and 10 for KH.
