ok i have a 29gallon aquarium and my rainbowsharks territory has been taken over by the Leporinus fasciatus! It was a mistake buying the lepornis since he gets way too big for my aquarium. The rainbowshark lived in this half pipe turned upside down in the aquarium and he has been kicked out by that fish. Now he just hangs around in the planted area of the tank. Is this something i should be alarmed by? or will the rainbowshark just go and establish another territory?

Welcome to AC!
The L. fasciatus is a nasty fish, and will probably destroy the Rainbow Shark. I'd get rid of it.

Or just get an African Clawed Frog.
Mine ate that Leper dude whole. Of course, this may not be the best solution.

I'm not sure that the Rainbow Shark would make it through that treatment, though...
"I know an old lady that swallowed a fly..." syndrome isn't necessarily a good thing!

It's more your job to provide sufficient territories, than it is the Shark-Minnow's job to fend for himself.
