Can I get any more corys?

Hey everyone.......I've had my 55g tank for a while now and all my fish are settled in and are doing great. I have 12 Corys (6 Peppers,3 Schwartzi, 2 Julii, 1 Emerald or Green. I love the little guys, and I'd really like to get at least 3-4 more, prefarbly Julii's or Sterbais. They're not taking up much room on the bottom of my tank.

I also have 4 small clown loaches, but they never fight the cory's for food and everyone gets along.

The other fish I have are guppies/mollys/platys/swordtails/4 small angels.

Anyway, would it be best to just leave my Corys at 12, or would it be safe for me to add about 3 more?
 
Add three cory if you like, but lose the clowns. They are slow growing but really should be in a group of 6 or more and in a 125 tank for adult size, at minimum.
 
Agreed. Best idea is to get rid of the Clowns, since they will get too big for a 55 gallon.

If you decide to give the Clowns away, you have room for about five more Corydoras.

In my opinion 15 corys is too much for a 55gal. Unlike other fish the cory only occupies one plane (the ground). Years ago (20+ years ago) I had about 40 corys in my 120gal and 75gal. I thought that was too much too. At the time I had almost 20 species. I love corys. My favorites Natteri, Robinae, and Barbidus (the giant cory).
