View Full Version : A Tale of Murder most foul

Mrs Ram (Lucretia to her friends) was found to be missing from her tank yesterday morning. A complete strip down of the tank (including removal of all plants) failed to produce a body or indeed any evidence of her ever having lived in the tank.

She was last seen the day before her disappearance constructing a shallow pit in the sand behind an amazon sword. A large male ancistrus cat was seen lurking in the vicinity - possibly with evil intent. Witnesses report that the said ancistrus was seen to be stalking Mrs Ram on several occasions but whenever he was spotted he made for cover, he also made for cover when he was striped.

On questioning the Ancistrus refused to comment but further examination revealed a satisfied expression and a definate bulge in the belly region.
Other inhabitants of the 100 litre tank were unable to help with enquiries and are not deemed to be suspects on account of their small mouths and peaceful nature (neon tetras, diamond tetras, colombian tetras, rosy tetras and cories).
Without a body and with no witnesses no prosecution can take place.

Mrs Ram (Lucretis)leaves no family as both her husbands sadly died after several spawnings. She will be sadly missed and her luxurious new tank (still cycling) will now be allocated to another pair of rams.

You could try to get a jury up your hand, to encourage the judge make him sentence the Ancistrus for life, as to avoiding any recidivistic behaviour in the near future.

Rather than placing more Rams in such a dangerous neighborhood maybe think about locating some Convicts into Lucretia's old digs and open a halfway house :D :D :D

lol
The jury is useless, they forget the question before they decide on an answer and they're all scared of big A
If he doesn't mend his ways he'll be placed in solitary pending relocation to a penal colony - with or without a judges decision.

I don't think Australia imports that many tropical fish...

Sorry to hear about Mrs. Ram. I think that you might finish the cycling before you add anything...the Big A's waste output won't spike too much if he doesn't get any more feeders.

Even though it's a sad story, I gotta say that I loved the way that you told it...very good journalistic style! :)

If confirmed and proven, big A is intimidating or threatening the jury, it is approved to a provisional judge to sentence accordingly.

Oh, Jimmy, I wrote the Australia thing just because that used to be the penal colony for the British...I think Aderynglas is from Wales, UK.

I know, I've already changed my remarks.
I just have to read the posts more carefully.

Tanks anyway

Thanks for your replies, I love all your comments :)

Perhaps it wasn't made clear in the original script but there are two tanks.

A 100 litre planted tank - this tank is 4 years old and well and truly cycled.

The tank set up for Rams has No fish in it. Its a fishless cycle.

But at the moment I am considering turning it into a fishy cycle ......... he he he.
