How do I get my clown loaches to eat? and will they eat floating pellets? This is my first time owning a Loach

Thank you

Mine eat everything...and are usually the hungriest acting fish in the tank....always swimming around, begging for food. I feed mine Tetramin Staple/Ruby flakes, shrimp pellets, sinking granuals(new-life spectrum food), frozen bloodworms, brineshrimp, mysis shrimp, and mosquito larvae. They also enjoy nibbling on the algae tablets that I feed to my algae eaters.

I feed my clowns sinking pellets, as they are bottom feeders, and tetra prima. They also get any flakes or other pellets that fall to the bottom.

Mine eat anything and everything. They take flakes from the surface and move pebbles to get at stuff in the gravel. If you want to see a zuchini slice shredded, try that too.

They love frozen blood worms, mysis shrimp and brine. In fact, I can't think of any food they don't wolf down.

It is very common for loaches to not eat in public for the first little while. They take some time to settle in usually. Give it time eventually they will beg for food doing the "loachy dance":)
