Just like the topic, im about to buy this so I can make my plants grow faster and flourish better in my lightly planted 10 gl tank. Anyone know if this really works? It looks easy, add tablet and sugar and it outputs Co2. Im really interested in this product, is it worth it for the basic planter noob?
Heres the link of where I want to buy it from...

Guess you'll have to try it, but how would you know when to administer CO2 and when not.
Do you have the ability to continuous monitoring your pH?
I guess that's what you need too.
Do you really need to add CO2 in your tank?
It's pretty easy to calculate howmuch CO2 your water is holding .

Looks to me just like a manufactured version of DIY CO2, so I would expect that it effectively adds CO2 to your tank. Visit the Krib and read up on DIY co2 so you know what issues to deal with. e.g. you might want to monitor pH before and after installing it to get an idea of how much co2 you are actually injecting.
This thread might do better in the Plant forum or Products/DIY Forum.

Do a search for it. I have seen numerous threads about it.

i guess ill just buy it and find out, just for the first guy who posted, it has a bubble counter. Also it is like DIY CO2 yet the canister can be reused with being cleaned and uses tablets which are much more lasting than jello and yeast. I'll post results once I get it.
Ive got one in my 20 gal it appears to be doing its job. I have co2 level of 4.7 and stays constant so far. But I failed to take co2 readings before I installed the co2 reactor. But my plants are thriving, thats my goal. Tim

CO2 = KH / 2.8 * 10 ^ (7.9 - pH)
This will give you CO2 in mg/liter, x3.78 mg/us gall, x4.45 mg/imp.gall
Depending on what kind of tank/fish and howmany plants you have, the value should be between 4 - 16 mg/liter

There is a chart at the krib all you need is your ph and kh.

Are you using city water or well water? My water is from Western Pulaski Co water and it has a very low kh, runs about 1-2 degree. You will probably need to add a tiny bit of baking soda or get some crushed coral. Kh is the buffering capacity. Go to the Skeptical Aquarist and read up about it.

Hey skitty go to the plant section, i have alot of my questions there. Stupid me posted the wrong topic in wrong forum lol. And also I have city water, Southeastern Pulaski County Water Supply. Im sure since you are really good with plants you could give me some pointers (The pictures of your tank explains it all lol)
