I have finished cycling my tank, but I am not ready to get fish yet. Should I keep adding ammonia daily to the tank so my bacteria won't die?

in a word: yes
the bacteria need something to "eat"....

Hi, Cartman !
To survive, nitrifying bacteria need a constant source of oxygen and nutrients. Without them, you will experience a bacterial die-off and be faced with a cycle, or at the very least, a mini-cycle, when you add your fish. Yes, fish food will work, but to a much smaller degree than a dose of ammonia ... and you would need to use a lot of food to get the same level ! :)
