hey guys and gals. ive been trying to decide on what i want for my 65 gallon. 36x18x24H

i was thinking of a species tank. with an addition of bottom feeders. looking for fish under 2 inch adult.

my first thought was: huge school of cardinals with some cories or clowns. moderatly planted. swords, vals, lawn. with some petrified wood rock scaping.

2nd idea: shellies tank. it's either i get them for my 65, or my 10g. either way i gotta have em. now that i re-think it, shellies would be better in a 10 g, because:....my 65g (36x18x24) is very high tank and pretty deep tank. thought it would be hard to observe the tiny shellies. plus being that high of a tank, the middle to top area would be too empty. and i've already bought lights to grow plants. and shellies dont look too natural with plants. so i guess i can scratch this and get the shellies for the 10 g. unless someone else can convince me.

3rd idea: angel speicies tank. i would LOVE altum angels, but they're hard to find around here. scratched this.

what should i get?

sorry for the long post. any suggestoins are welcome. thanks!

i've decided to get the 65 instead of the 55 long tank (48x12x18H)

but the 75 and 90 seems interesting. the 75 is 48x18x20H. 90 is 48x18x24H.

but most likely i wont go for those, because my 36 inch lights wont fit well. anyone got experience with uneven lighted tank?

dark spots? does it create a natural aquascape or does it just look weird. thanks

there's too many choices when it comes to aquariums. it would kill me if you guys didnt help me out. thanks again

I would definetly get a couple Clown Loach they are my favorites.

I want a Electric Blue Jack Dempsey also a very nice fish. But definetly get the Loaches they rock. I have 3
