lol finally caught the cons in the act

First time since I've had em I finally caught them spawning. Walked in and the female was laying the eggs and the male was sitting there patiently waiting. The ditch they dug this time is beautiful. lol I don't know how to describe it any other way, its beside one of the clay pots they dug the sand down to the gravel and it slopes underneath the pot and they made it a decent size and the only way to see it is from the west side panel looking all the way across between the plants, it looks awesome from the view I get. Shes laying them as I type this and hes ready to fertilize. Of course they are cons and you probably dont care but I just figured I'd share :D. It is my first time after all actually finding them spawning and not seeing either free swimmers or eggs already developing. So im excited about it.

i was the same way when i first found my blue acaras spawning, i tried to take some pictures but they didnt look all that well so i never posted them, they always looked like they were just fanning the eggs when they were laying them!

haha that is the same exact thing here. She is fanning the hell out of them and the shots are nothing worth showing.
