Hello all. I have not posted here in quite a while but since I am now creeping my way back into the saltwater scene I figured I would drop in to say hi. I am currently living in an apartment complex on the second level where aquariums larger than 10gal are not permitted. So I figured I would try my hand at a nanoreef. I have done a lot of reading on them and decided to go with the Eclipse system six tank for my reef. I have set it up and I am just waiting on the cycle to complete.

Which brings me to my next question. I was wondering if anyone out here has a nanoreef? I have been wondering if there was any difference in the time frame for the cycle with such a small tank? And if anyone might have any special hints for making this a pleasant experience? :) I know it will be more difficult to maintain than a larger tank but I am up to the challenge.

Thanks for your time, Masher

No difference in cycle caused by the size of the tank.

While I do not want to send you to a different board. This site has a board for nanotanks: http://www.aqualinkwebforum.com
