testing instruments?????

just started growing some hard corals out of some of my rock.

anyway, got some calcium and alkalinity booster for me water. States on the bottle for beginners to add x amount twice a week.
is that sufficient?:confused:
if not is there any tester on the market to help?

I would get test kits for calcium and alkalinity or kh. First test your tank water to detrermine what your current levels are. If needed start dosing the amounts listed on the label. If this isn't enough, dose additional amounts. Continue to test your water to make sure you are not raising calcium or alkalinity too quickly.
