Some ideas please....

Now that I've got my 50 gallon back to order I think I would like some help restocking it. First I will give you what I have in there now:

6-cory cats
1-5 inch rainbow shark
3-checkered barbs
2-gold barbs
2-snails

I will be adding more checkered barbs, and probably more gold barbs but what else should I add to it?

Are you looking for small fish, workers, centerpiece?

Any sharks are out, as are most of the minnow shaped algae eaters. A pair of bristlenose would be a nice addition, and helpful in cleaning as well.

A pair of angels would be nice, but the barbs would likely nip and harass them too much. Maybe a pair of apistos? Nice color, stay small, but won't take much guff from barbs.

Male rosy barbs, long fins or not, both very bright red, make great splashes of color.
