Okay, I got the pictures of my fish.
Some didn't turn out too good. I took with my digital camcorder, haven't figured it out completely.. :)

But anyway, I have scientific name for most, and I just guessed by looking at other pictures of fish and from some help from here.

Could you take a look at the page and tell me if you see that I named something wrong or help fill in some of the blanks?

The Red Fin didn't take a good picture. Will try again on him.

thanks for any help!
You've been great!

"Muddog" the culprit I assum, would be a Tropheus sp. from
lake Tanganiyka. (Blue-faced Duboisi)
http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/gduboisi.html

Both Peaches and Paches could very well be M.Zebra or Pseudotropheus estherae
( Red Zebra cichlid and Red Zebra cichlid O.B. (orange blotch)

The common name for Slim would be Marlier's Julie

Bluebeard is also called Powder blue cichlid.

I'm not sure about Mickey, I guess has he lost most of his fins?
I like those names you have given them much more though.
Did you removed the culprit or is everything at ease now?

Thanks for the help. :)

Actually I took out Mickey, the one being tortured. I put him in a 10 gallon tank by himself and am treating with Melafix (again). He has a couple of sores on him. But he was not easy to catch, so he still has strength. The last time I took him out, he didn't run from the net at all, so I figure he isn't as bad and will recover.

I know that I can't put him back in the main tank, unless I take out Muddog!

But what I can't figure out is why Muddog (the attacker) doesn't go after any of the other fish? I have been keeping an eye on him and he isn't bothering anyone, he just took a great dislike to Mickey I guess?

And I had no idea he was from Lake Tanganiyka! WOW! The lady at the fish store didn't tell me that. I read the link you sent and I see that others have had the same trouble with them being aggresive and very territorial.

I wonder after Mickey (the red fin) gets better, if I should just take out the aggressor and put him in the 10 gallon by himself? And put Mickey back in the main tank. Because eventually the meanie might start picking on someone else?

Going by the inch per gallon rule, he should live quite fine in a 10 gallon by himself? What do you think about that?

Peaches, seems to be an albino fish, his eyes are not black like the others, they are the same color as his skin. Looks similar to Albino cory, eye and skin color.

And, thanks! glad you like the names. :)

I am still going to try to get some better pictures.

I don't know why he's leaving the rest alone (a good thing though) or why he attacked Mickey after all this time. Perhaps it has something to do with breeding-time and considers Mickey as some sort of competitor, I really don't no.

It sounds like a good idea putting Mickey back in the main tank and Muddog into the 10.

Oh yes, one more thing though; Going by the inch per gallon rule, doesn't apply to cichlids; because of their territorial behavior they need a lot more space.
