For monos and scats, would the odd mealworm or super worm be okay for treats. Or would the chitin be too much to digest? These are farm breed so no pestisides etc. It is just I always have some on hand for my lizards and thought...well people use them for bait for freshwater fishing.

What are your thoughts?

I've used the 'white' worms - freshly shed and not yet hardened for a number of fish, but never the hardened ones other than for puffers who chew their hardshelled food quite well, and that
never as staple, only treats.

I agree, only as treats. Mealworms are high in fat, which is not good for fish. Ever see an overweight fish?

They are really hard to digest, may even go right through. Not worth the effort, IMO.
