I was checking out my T Lortetis today & the male was acting spunky, being out from under his usual leaf & swimming around. My female was still hiding as normal, but was dark & very fat. As I've seen this behavior before, I figured they were ready to spawn again. I kind of forgot about it until I walked past the tank again & glanced in. The male was swimming about wildly, bumping into the female, while the female had her head shoved into a bushy pink plastic plant up to her dorsal fin, with her fins flapping wildly. I kneeled next to their tank to take a good look, when the male tucked in close & the female exploded about 500+ eggs! I can't believe I caught it! What a lucky sight.
