Hi I'm quite new to alot of this. I've sucessfully kept a smaller marine tank in the past though that was some time ago. Right now I have a 10 gallon tank with 2 very small yellow lab cichlids in it, and a 29 gallon tank that they will move into once i've completed building the stand for it. my question really is regarding puffers, particularly the green spotted ones. Would it be possilbe to make the 10 gallon tank I currently have into a brackish tank after the cichlids move out of in. I had read several places that a 10 gallon would be sufficient to house 1 green spotted puffer for the first year or so of its life provided it had rocks and such to hide around, and then moving it to a larger tank would be required. Would this be feasible? could he use the same water as the small cichlids are using which has a buffer keeping the pH around 8.3? Any thoughts/info/instructions on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
