OMG WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! I can't believe that you would risk the nitonium level exceeding the normal boundaries of the exodironal! Actually guys this is a real life friend of mine... nice fish huh? anyone know what the catfish is? or if the "flowerhorn" is indeed a flowerhorn:)
O and BTW I can vouch for danny here, the fish ARE indeed very happy, and well fed at that:)

Yea he likes it by himself. He had the worst case of hith I have ever seen on a fish for about 5 months! But I kept treating it with water changes and medication when I had it. Then he didnt eat for about 3-4 weeks not a thing I thought he was a goner. But one day about 2 weeks ago he started healing and eating. He lost almost 1/4 of skin on his head the whole thing and vision in one eye. I believe the cause was live fish combined with stress of moving him into a new tank. I will get a pic of him upclose so you an see the damage.

Here is a pic from today. As you can see he hasnt finished healing fully but has made a HUGE recovory his entire head was white about 2 weeks ago. I think he has the eye if the tiger.

That's oscar on a good day... it was MUCH worse..
if thats a 55 gallon I too say the oscar tank is overstocked, even with just one oscar :D:D. 12 inchs wide with a fish 12 inchs long. good rule of thumb is at least double width of footprint per length of fish.
though I must say that is a nice 150 gallon and one hell of a male con!!! Just the back fin shows hes gotten a recent beating but still, his hump is awesome. Nice flowerhorn too.

Yea I know I put him in the 150 about 8 months ago with just him and a couple other fish. He was extremely unhappy. He just layed in a corner all day long. Then he got hith and it just wouldnt go away no matter how I treated it so I put him in the 55 as a last effort by himself to see what would happen. He started doing better after awhile and he seems much happier in that tank that he grew up in. He is all by himself with really good filtration. I could put him in the 150 and put a couple of the 150 fish in his 55 or my other 55 but then what risk him gettin hith again from stress? Moving a fish like that is a task just ask eric lol.

Actually it is goin really well they get along well. I know someday I will have to move some of the fish around. I got the flowerhorn in January he was about 2 1/2 inchs long. Now he is about 6 inches!

I'm thinking to get flowerhorn or red devil myself. I'm scared that they will tear my lovely fish apart. I mean even though this fish is pretty aggressive, I don't know how they will get along. Right now he is over 4" including his fins.
Any advise?
Here is his pic

hehe, sorry to burst your bubble, but I doubt that can outgrow and outbeat a red devil, or flowerhorn:) I used 2 have an aggressive blood parrot also:) BTW a red devil, or a flowerhorn, at full size most likely will make the aquarium a one fish tank:)
Heck! I don't know anymore, Eric. My fish is so aggressive. Homer cornered another natural hybrid fish (red devil and blood parrot cross). He scared my Green Terror off the tank. He killed one of my blood parrot. Shoot...I've to think of a good tank mate for this little nut fish, Homer.
Just a littile advice right now, do not put these with other fish as follows:
umbee
jag
dovii
red devil
trimac
midas
flowerhorn........you get the point, I don't understand everyone always asking compatibiltiy questions that have reputations like that of a **** great white. They are destructive. VERY destructive and enjoy destroying other life just because they can. They are predators and if you put them in with other fish that can't fend for themselves they will become prey. Now if you put them in with fish that can fend for themselves....well you just got yourself a free better than pay-per-view no holds barred boxing match. Of course case being we are talking under 200gallons, little aggression control experience by the owner and mature specimens. One of our fellow board members would be glad to assist your compatibility questions. Just look up predatorcichlid and check out his website.
Haha! I totally agreed, optix. Well, my Homer sure killed a few fish. Heck...he ate one of my blood parrot. Poor little guy missed half of the face when I discovered dead fish. He killed his sister too....that little Homer. Green Terror got some reputation too...that's why I got him from the first place. The terror was bigger than Homer, but shoot....the Terror rather jumped off the tank then being beaten up by my Homer. So...what they hell am I supposed to do now? I'm totally stuck....

get a male and female convict... and put a cave or something for them in there... homer will be put in his place;) yea the fish in that list are beast... I siphoned the midas's tank yesterday and every time he went to bite my hand I would have to grab the sand off of the ground and throw it in his face. He grabs the siphon and algae scrapers also... even the net he doesn't fear... and he is only around 4 inches.. Big ego for a small fish.
O yea BTW if danny doesn't post it is because his 155 had a leak... moved fish into different tanks, got silicon, and he went to work on it, should be back up in a few days.
I'm thinking about that too, Eric. Maybe Convict, Salvini, or Texas Cichlid. Maybe I will have a free for all Pay-per-view in my living room.
I mean, from what I heard, Homer's parents could be Blood Parrot and Red Devil. That's what caused him to be aggressive. He is still small yet...not even 10 months old (his body only 2". Including his tail will be 4"). Heck! Already killed 2 fish and scared the other one to death. Haha!!! I guess I'll just have to investigate what kind of fish is best for him. I heard that Salvini is aggressive and not as aggressive as Red Devil. Then again...I heard the same thing about Green Terror. Well, as mentioned...the Green Terror ran for his live when Homer attacked. Homer's other tank mate hasn't moved from her corner...gee....I don't know for how long now.
Some people told me to start feeding him live food...like 1" feeder. That will put him starve for blood. And maybe they are all talk. Oh well, who knows...I just have to wait for him to grow bigger and see if his temperment has any changes.
However, thanks for the help.

hehe maybe you should just keep the aggressive blood parrot. If it is such a beast you would be the only person on this entire forum with an awesome blood parrot, the rest are all happy and ...... stuff....
