When I take my fish picture, I have my camera flash light off, but keep the tank's light on. That can take help take even light picture. Just make sure that the fish doesn't go too far up near the light when take the picture. :)

Verse914...Nice fish, hope mine grows up to be that colorful!

dbcb314...Alto. Compressiceps are (for me personally) very easy to keep. It's my favorite type of fish. They're always out in the open, and hold their own in the tank. However, mine are F1's...meaning that they were bred in captivity rather than wild-caught. So the only experience I have is with F1's. (I've heard that F0's or wild-caught fish can be a little bit tricky to get to eat at first). But I would definitely recommend any type of compressiceps. They are very unique and interesting fish. I'm going to order a large wild-caught pair soon. I'll post pictures when I do. Hope this helps and good luck. :)
