I see a common array of tanks in the nicer Chinese restaurants. They are usually three tanks, each stacked on top of one another but they each share common sides. The bottom tank is the deepest, some as deep as 30", the middle is 25" and the top is about 20. the staggering gives access to slip a net in and catch the fish for dindin - or to do maintenance. The tanks are often 6' long. The sides are only 1/2" glass - maybe a speck thicker. I know my description is not very detailed...but do you think that is thick enough to hold all that water? It looks really awesome..but what I think would be more awesome is to turn it around so that the front is flush, the rear is staggered - can do maintenance from the back...so you have a wall of water effect.

i know what you're talking about, but i would say that thicker glass would be better. you're basically looking at 75 inches deep.. and thats a LOT of water pressure when you think about it. this is one of those "better safe than sorry" situations.

while i like the *idea* the staggered effect only gives you a small relative area to do maintenance from. so it may not be very practical.
