anyone have any insight into this? I seem to have quite a bit of it springing up, if I have what I think I have.

It appeared in my tanks too, I am always pulling it out, it breaks easily so there is always some left to grow again, its not a problem though, though its a carnivorous plant it isnt big enough to catch fry or do any harm. Its a quite interesting plant in a way.

I'm wondering if it will catch things my fish would like to eat.

You know, I've had these grow in my tanks for the longest time. I've always thought it was just algae though.

Bladderwort catches nearly microscopic organisms so it's not going to catch anything your fish can eat.
