Hi,

Trying to figure out if these fish in my lake are actually Blue Tilapia.
I have looked at loads of Blue Tilapia Pics on the net and while i see
resemblances, its not enough to convince me, so i thought i would ask here. Sorry the pics are not great. The bigger fish was about 12 inches.

Thanks

On my lake/big pond in Riverview florida.. Well it's a 40 acre spring fed lake, not certain if its considered a pond. We have loads of them. Is it even a Cichlid?

Thanks for the input everyone. I couldnt find any good pictures of african white tilapia, not sure if they are the same as Rocky mountain white tilapia.

Another question: Could these fish have taken on a whole new appearence due to thier enviorment and possibly be blue tilapia?

Hope you can make sense of my question, because i sure cant:eek:

Thanks
