HOW TO TEAR DOWN PLANTED TANK FOR SHORT MOVE?

I have a family coming this afternoon to take 2 of my 20 gallon planted tanks. Both contain fish. My main question is should I remove all plants and bag them up? Or should I leave them in the tank undisturbed with a few inches of water? I guess one obvious answer is if I have even one fast moving fish that I can't snag, then I should probably pull the plants - then I have a cloudy mess with the flourite substrate. I have 6 hours to figure this out. If I am going to pull all plants, I rather do it way ahead of time to let the water settle down. Also, I told the buyers to bring plenty of LARGE bags (from Petco, etc.), and they told me this morning they are bringing 2-gallon Zip-Locs. Not my first choice. WHAT IS THE GENERAL CONSENSUS HERE? PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE SOON! Thanks so much for anyone's speedy reply.

Remove everything!!!! Water or gravel in tank will upset balance and may cause a future leak.

This might be late but I would remove everything. If the plants stay above the water for too long even if the roots are submerged in water, the plants will start to dry out and possibly die. I would bag up everything for the move.
