I have 23 juveniles in my 125 gal. They are all about 1-2". I was just wondering how long it takes them to get to their full length? A year? More? Just curious.

Oh, I should have mentioned that. I have:

8 yellow labs
6 hongi
5 acei
4 rusties
1 synodontis petricola

I guess I added wrong, that makes 24.

The yellow labs are already about 3", but everybody else is pretty small. I've researched to see how long everyone gets, but not sure how long that takes.

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to become adults?

I've never kept any of these, but I'm sure its the same as all other fish.

It all depends on water quality and if they've got enough room.

good food and water changes. often.

Yep, we change 20-25% of the water every two weeks and have a nice big tank. So what's the timeframe? About a year til these puppies are 5-7"?

Depends on temp and type of food too. Higher temp=more food needed=more water changes. Better food=better growth.

I like powerfeeding and powerchanges...50%.

It noticed my oscars will hit a growth spurt when I started this.
