kribs info please

picked up a pair of kribs from lfs awhile back put in tank, couple of days later female is dead, thought nothing of it really. could have been too many reasons to worry about. cruising lfs later found
breeding pair of kribs with free swimming fry. purchased pair without fry. put in 20 gal tank with bristlenose pleco and pair of panda corys two days later female was dead. WUZZZZ UP WIT DAT???? appreciate any info on why males keep killing females.

Kribs will do this, especially in smaller tanks. If the female is much smaller she will not be able to stand up to a mature male kirb. Your cories will not like the Kribs either, so you might want to consider moving them.
