anyone have Bronze puffer?

anyone here have any experience w/ bronze puffer? I saw them at my LFS store today, very cheap ( ~4 USD). about 4cms

want to know how agressive it is.. only found min info on the web, but most of them say its very agressive... so Im wondering if anyone here have any personal experience w/ them..

my LFS said they are congo puffer but i swear to god they are Bronze.. greenish/brownish.. very flat..

that sounds like the congo puffer, you don't want one unless you've got a BIIIG tank.

Nope, it is a modestus puffer. They don't get very large, but are seriously mean (as most FW puffers are).

Why would a congo (t. murius) need a large tank?

Yup, that's the one I was thinking of. Cool looking puffer, huh? I saw one once. Keep in a species only tank. Pretty nasty.

they are weird haha.... very agressive though, every one of them in the tank was pretty beat up, and they have another tank for the "injured" ones w/ like their tail gone. not just the fin but also the meat... kinda disgusting..

I have 2, I've had them for two months now. I don't know a whole lot about them, but mine seem to be doing fine in a 37 gal with 4 african cichlids. You hear lots of different things...some say put them in a species tank others say put them in an aggressive tank with the same size mates, I took a chance. They're greedy and they come to the top of the tank anytime you walk near it, thinking there going to eat. They're also jumpers, when I open the lid they always jump up biting thinking I have something in my hand, because I hand feed alot.
Also, where is this pet store located? I've been looking for 2 more, but no one in Illinois has had then in stock.
