i have one and it is nice; worked well for cleaning glass, but it cannot clean where the filling is between the corners of tank- i have to do that myself. i have had it for 3 years now and its magnetic field is weakening, so it is next to useless now. its a good buy for a long term solution, but i still prefer the old fashioned scott towels for the tank.
I love mine. Does a good job for in between water change glass cleanings. Works well as a veggie clip for feeding the herbivores and the angels prefer it as their spawning site of choice.
I've always wanted to get a mag-float but I guess I'm too cheap since the old credit card has been serving me so well for years. I didn't know the mag-float weakens over time. Something to consider the next time I think about getting one.
