My five gallon finished cycling earlier this week, so to celebrate I went out and bought three TINY pygmy cories. I found them on the web and saw them in the nano tank at the LFS. So far I think that they are fantastic little fish. I really cannot believe how tiny they are. I was worried about them overstocking the tank once my new halfmoon betta gets put in, but I'm really not concerned anymore. anybody else keep these?

We don't have pygmy's but we do have panda's which is another of the smaller catfish, they are gorgeous aren't they, and when they get a little bigger they will dart round the tank - and they go with just about anything too

i've never kept pygmys but i have 5 baby skunk cories and they're just little guys (or girls?) too. Super cute hey? i love when they all stick together and swim/eat together.. one algae wafer will keep them all occupied for an hour atleast and sometimes mom and dad come and swim with them too... by far my favorite fish for sure!

I am looking to get some now, trying to find some around me has been impossable so far

I may be way off, but when I looked into getting some pygmy corys from a local breeder for my 10gal betta tank, he said that they might get eaten by the betta. Don't know if it was just cause they were still younger but, just a heads up like I got.

I just got 4 pygmies from the LFS- first time I've seen them in person and man are they cute little buggers!!! But when we say small/tiny I really hadn't imagined how small they were. They are teeny.

We just got three today, teeny tiny babies, and with otto's in the tank it's difficult to tell which is which, unless one is stuck to the side of the tank with his mouth, then we figure its probably the otto. Great gorgeous fun little fish, and quite hardy for their size apparently!

I love my pygmy cats, they're a lot of fun to watch, and they don't feel constrained to stay at the bottom of the tank all the time :) they school with my otos sometimes too :P Unfortunately they're not common around here, and my little group is down to three fish (been well over a year since I've seen any for sale, but then again, I don't go look for fish to buy very often...). They're one of my favorite fish though :)
