My wife has a beautiful bubble tip in her nano but the problem is that its only 12 gallons and it, the bubble tip, poops like every other day which sends the nitrates soring. It's already killed her clown fish, so last night we moved it into a 55 that i have been setting up for like two weeks now. The clown fish that I put in my 55 last week loves it but I planned on entering some trigger fish into the equation. Will they eat the bubble tip or will the clown fish fend them off?

i think a 55 is too small for a trigger fish in my opinion...However, to answer your question, i dont believe a trigger would interfere with the nem..However, i would not class a trigger as being overly reef compatible, in general terms as it will eat small crustations and small fish..

Just an opinion

How much is your wife feeding the anems? Mine have a bm about 2 times per month. I bet they are growing like gang busters!
