I have had my marine tank set up for about a year and a half, started off with a few sets of polys which were doing great.
About 6 months ago they started to what i can only describe as die off, they closed up completely and never bloomed again. Continued with regular water changes fish have never been so healthy but these **** things never seem bloom or open.
They turn skinny and shrivel away, they look so good in the fish store but look kak in my tank.
As i do not have access to a test kit what could the problems be just off the top of your heads.
I have been told my lights are adequate for keeping pretty much all types of corals, leathers etc.
Need help
Thanks.

The first thought of course is NO3, NO2 & NH3... temp, SG, etc. If you are talking about zoas/button polyps there has to be a major problem for them not to do well. You absolutely have to get a test kit to even begin to wonder what the problem is.
Did you QT them? Check for pests such as aeolid nudis and sundial snails?

I have been having a similar problem.
My Zoas were doing great for about 3 months and then just started shrinking and dying. After a week, the Zoas got better and then started growing very slowly for about a month. Then, just as before they all shrunk and began to die off. There are very few left and they don't look good.
I do weekly water changes and all my levels are great:
Ammonia:0
Nitrites:0
Nitrates: barely detectable
Phosphates:0
Clacium:480
Alk:9.8
Additionally, during the same time frame, I have kept a torch coral which has tripled in size and a closed brain coral which is growing fast. None of these touch each other.
I basically believe that my tank just doesn't want Zoas.
Hmm, aaron that might in a sense be true try using activated carbon in your sump to help in the event of any bio-chemical war. I would also listen to grins suggestion and look for pests if I were you Victorio.

it appears that my salinity was too high, could that affect them?

I wouldnt say it was very high, but possibly just above the levels. What do you think, could this have any affect on them?

Without an actual number we can't really say. However, zoas are pretty so unless you've ruled out pests my guess is still towards that.

thanks, salinity level is back at the preferred level so lets see what happens.
Thanks so much for the input

put it this way, the level on the barometer was almost in the white. The green indicator was above the water. Checked on them this afternoon and my polyps are starting to come out.
Huh? You are using a barometer to measure salinity?
