Hey i needed to know if this is a good deal. I will pick it up today if it is. thanks


55 Gallon aquarium, glass in good condition. Includes: stand, canopy, lights/hood, gravel, heater, decorations, thermometer, penguin 330 filter, and other small items. Tank is up and running.
$150.

You can buy a brand new setup with everything except the gravel and decorations for $160 ( or $169, maybe?) at Walmart. You can buy a 55 gallon with hood and lights only for $99 at Petsmart. I personally wouldn't buy it for more than MAYBE $125 TOPPS! (it's used......remember!)

Walmart has a 55G tank? i dont remember ever seeing one that big before at Walmart.

I have seen them several times there. I can't vouch for your store, but they should have them. Also, I decided against buying at walmart and bought my 55 at Petsmart. I then bought all the equipment separately, since I'm so particular! I like to have good equipment and I'm willing to pay more for it.

Are petsmarts diffrent? I was just there a few days ago and didnt see a 55G with hood and lights for $99.

I saw a package deal they had a 55G starter kit for $150 but that didnt even come with a stand.

Guess i wont go get that one then, maybe i will just wait nad look harder

You know what?.....I just noticed you said it came with a stand also....my bad! None of the prices I quoted are with stands. If the stand that came with the one you are looking at is good, and everything else is in good shape, it might be a good deal, then. I personally like to build my own stands and canopys, but I enjoy carpentry.;)
