Hey guys, im not having much luck identifying what the first fish in THIS THREAD (http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12965) is.
Can anyone tell me what type of cichlid it is??

The bottom ones are cribs. The top is not zebra. However no community fish will be a match for it. You need to get him out of there. :(
The top fish looks like Gourami :P

Lol the 'top' fish in the top photo IS a gourami! i meant the main fish in that pic smarty :p

Looking at his snout I would say something like a subdominant Melanochromis Johanni. (the one with the gourami)

I use to have one. Score for me score for me!!!! That was my favorite fish until it died. By the way this is the first time i actually knew one of these ID questions. shoot i didnt read the nvm part:(

The first fish looks like a pseudotropheus socolofi, but I think there is something else mixed in so its a hybrid. Can you post a better pic?

Looks like a "mixed african" to me.
Pound to a penny it can be an aggressive sod, but possibly only to other cichlids.

Very similar andy, but i dont think thats it.
I cant get another pic for a while.
Ill post it when i can.
Its definately aggressive to anything bigger than it, maybe it feels threatened and takes out larger fish.
