Xanthism is often the expression of a recessive gene. The first generation may not show any at all.
However "Mixed Malawi Morphs" are now such a bouillabaisse of genetic lines, you might get a Platy!

i have no idea what you just posted lol
Crossing peacock colour morphs is likely to produce a dull grey fish more similar to a female in colour than an all new colour variety. Peacocks aren't the same species but are genetically close enough to churn out lots of nasty hybrids, which will invariably be bred back into captive stocks to reduce quality. It's already happening with mbuna.
Hybridding is always a popular subject for flaming, so be warned.
Whenever I see the words 'mixed malawis' in a shop, I just think genetic rubbish, all hybrids to some extent.

in away "mixed malawi's" could meen a few types (a group) of fish from the lake that you can buy that go good togeather to start up a malawi setup not mixed as in bred you know what i meen.
like in australia you can get little ice blocks but you can get a back of 40 mixed but their called the same lol
but if you see the fish and their not assorted hen thats a different story.
sorry for the comosion and brain strain but thats the easiest way i could word it.
