While searching for a way to raise my KH, I did a google search, and came across this site
drhelm.com - Aquarium Chemistry (http://www.drhelm.com/aquarium/chemistry.html)

It's quite easy to read, and has simple instructions for how to change pH, KH, GH...

Now, I am still a newb, so am I correct in assuming that this site is reliable? Sorry to ask a (perhaps dumb) question.

Hope this helps someone in addition to myself.

A newb myself, but I thought it was excellent from what I knew. The way it was written, I thought I was on the Wetmans site http://www.skepticalaquarist.com/. It would be good to hear from the Wetman on the validity of the info on this site.

Good find nanahachie. I didn't see any inaccuracies in it and I like the simplicity of the text. A good explanation of water hardness for newbies and a good reference for everyone.
