Magnum 330 extra stuff inside?

i have magnum 330 for my 120 gal tank. do you think i should add stuff in the middle of it. i have read where people put stuff in the middle of the canister, but i dont know what. i got it with the tank. it has a mirco blue thing on the out side of the round thing in the middle. sorry i dont know the names of what i am trying to say.

when i have money i am also plaining on adding a fluvals 404 or something like it

I have a mag also and we use activated carbon inside the sleeve. Just make sure you put the blue sleeve on before pouring the carbon and rinse it thoroughly in cool/cold water before turning it back on. If you don't ronse it you get a huge black cloud in your tank.:)
