Prizm Help

Heyya folks. I recently picked up a Prizm after returning my SeaClone. Anyways, I set'er up and now the impeller will spin but it doesn't seem to have enough strength to pull water up the intake tube. I primed it and primed it until finally the water is at the top and the water somewhat..."chup-chup-chup"...it's hard to describe...Anyways, it's been nearly a month now with a skimmer and I do frequent water changes and everything is fine so far, but I'd like to get this going. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure there is water in the skimmer and make sure your putting the black hose on the nipple meant for priming, not skimming.

Thanks alot. That did the trick. Is there anyway however, to get the bubbles out of the intake? I don't know if that's what's causing the noise, but this thing is as loud as a generator.
