I've been on and off these forums for quite some time now and never really thought to scroll all the way down to the introduce yourself bit.

I have a BA in Philosophy. I focused on ethics and logic. I have a strong intrest in the neurological aspects of human behavior . I'm particularly interested in exactly what it is that causes us to think one action is moral while another is not.


Wow, that last bit kinda makes me sound like a serial killer.

I've always been a cat person. cats are (pound for pound) the most perfectly designed hunting machines walking this earth. but they're also so soft and friendly.

I got a new puppy in May. it turns out he was born right around the same time I proposed to my fiancee with a box full of butterflies in a Japanese garden.

I write short stories in my spare time (of which there is less and less every day). My most recent (and I think best) work is a script I'm working on for a graphic novel. It revolves around the mythology of the Maya while touching in on the subject of the very loose grasp we hold on empirical truth.

I only have one tank. it's the one in my sig.
