Which will give me more growing power on a 29gallon tank?

I currently have a bio wheel 200 and a visi - therm heater nothing else.

I plan to put african cichlds in there but do not want them to jump out.

I have a 160 dollars toward petsmart so i want to buy one of thoe fixtures.

well the fact that the t5 has alot of bulbs wouldn't that cost more to replace the bulbs if they go out?

Verses buying one 55watt.

Also would there be a more intense light with one?

A cf is a regular t5 bent into a u shape. Cf s work great over a small tank where you don't have the length for a higher wattage t5. If you are comparing normal output, I'd base your decision on lamp replacement cost.
