Need some help, my ph is 7.5-8, but its really hard, how can I soften it without dropping the ph too much
Why do you need to drop the pH?
What is you KH?

like 7 or 8, I ran the test for Gh but gave up after like 10 drops and it still hadn't begun to change color

you can call your water supplier for a water report that will list those things and several others that might be important

Why are you trying to soften it?
My KH is 7, and it causes no problems whatsoever.

I haven't tried anything to soften it yet, I have well water, I do know that our water is high in iron
So, if it ain't broke, don't "fix" it.

I wanted to say that, I was getting ready tot say it last time and I figured I'd say it the next post.
High in iron = save money on fertizilers
