When I went to my LFS to sell my latest batch of severum fry. I saw these two beauties.

It's been a while since I had any Nics so I had to pick her up. As soon as I finally get the big tank out of the garage, and set up I will go pick her up a beau and start breeding them. Nics are such cool fish.

As for the convict I have never really been a fan of them, far to common and up til recently very boring color wise. This females colors however were awesome. She reminded me of the ones Mojo shot some pictures of last month. All round fantastic coloring. Just had to take her while I was there.

Sorry for the quaility. The skylight above this tank makes it almost impossible to get any nice shots during the day. Too much bloody glare in the room. I will try to get some better ones come night time.

looks like the con is looking to get hooked up

my female has yellow black white green blue pink orange when she's ready to play, they are attractive I think!

My female Con looks like that too...very colorful. She is just 1.5"...already have Blue, purple, red, yellow on her body. The male con...he is just gray and black. It is hard to take their pic...they are camera shy.

Show us more pics after your nic colors up more! Mine is absolutely beautiful, but I can't seem to get any good pics!

hey i got two pairs of nics they are the best they each had one batch of fry so far one batch didnt make it but my new pair are working at thiers right now the female is doin a good job at sucken them in and spitten them back out at were they are supposed to be its very awesome the eggs are hatching as i speak its so great!!
