i bought this small about 7inch tall lotus. im not sure what kind it is, but it's red. it was not in very good condition and the stems were very weak and fragile. its a newly setup tank and im wondering what does it require? i currently have 15 watts over the 10 g and soon to have 30. i got some root tabs that contain very high potash. and im using flourite. thanks

Hopefully you buried the root tabs as deeply as possible. They can be a problem otherwise. They are probably unnecessary when using flourite, but if deep enough you'll be ok.
For a 10, you can pick up some SeaChem Flourish for trace elements. Some Flourish Potassium, Flourish Excel for Carbon, and I think they make a Flourish Phosphates. If you have a light plant load you can use the above at 1/2 strength. And if you have a heavy fish load, they will probably supply all the nitrates you'll need.
When you go up to 3 watts/gal. you'll probably need to go full strength, again depending on your plant load.
