I don't know about your fish chioces, None are very large or will get very large. From an aesthetic standpoint, I would like to add a fish that is more visible, a swimmer to the list. Grammas are beautiful, but can be shy. Blennies and gobies are primarily bottom swimmers. As for the cleaners, I just cycled a 75 gallon and have about 60 turbos, 60 nassarius, 60 hermits, an emerald crab, and 3 cerith snails. I plan to add a brittle star and a cleaner shrimp. I don't know if this is over-kill, but I like my glass clean and my floor "mopped". Hope this helps. I am also fairly new to the salt world.

percula clownfish
lemon goby

banggai cardinalfish
marine betta - ]I would drop this one from the list
firefish
peppermint shrimp
common cleaner shrimp
american star shell snail - ] I do not know this one
blue-legged hermit crab [
Usual rule of thumb ( and I hate rules of thumb) is atotal of snails + crabs = gallons of water.
For clean up I would add detrivore kits from one or both of the following before any fish. Give them 3 weeks in the tank first.

Hi,
Just would like to know how many cleaner shrimp should be put in a 50 gal tank. By the way, I'm just new to this site and I'm from Manila, Philippines. Hope you'll give me your best suggestions.
Thanks...Ferdie

It depends on the type. Coral Banded Shrimp - 1
Most others in groups of three in my opinion.

i have a royal gramma in QT now. i am trying to decide what to add as my next fish. i would like to have a small school of colorful, peaceful fish. would either the lemon gobies or blue-green chromis work? if so, how many? if not, what would be another suggestion?
thanks,

The blue-green chromis should be fine. We started our 46 gallon with them. They are attractive, peaceful, and look nice schooling. We are trying to get blue chromis for our 75 gallon just to have diversity between the two tanks.

lison to Ray Pollett on the betta. When it feels it need a snack it may make a meal out of one or more of the tank mates.

i think i am going to go with the royal gramma, maybe a firefish, 2 percula clownfish and a flame angel. if not the firefish, something peaceful and 4" or under. how does that sound? yep, no to the beta. i probably would never see him anyway.

Sounds ok to me. Put the firefish in first, with that group. Remember firefish are jumpers until they feel safe. Only one in a tank that size. They are known to kill each other.
Flame Angel should only go in established tanks in my opion. One that has been up about 6 months and stable for a few months. Understand these are a fish that are caught by cyanide still. So try to get one that is net caught. That can be hard to verify, you have to trust the dealer.
