My stock is 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, 1 Texas, 1 Gold Sev, 1 Blue Acara, 3 Firemouths,
1 Royal Plec and 1 King Tiger Plec all in a 180g.
Is there enough space for any more fish or should I leave it how it is? I was hoping to add a pair of convicts or another plec.

I asked a similar question about a week ago and since then i have added my tiger oscar, he's 1" long and so cute.
I would like a pair of convicts but not if it wll overcroud my tank.

The problem with keeping a pair of cons is that they will eventually spawn and wreak havoc despite your fish being able to defend themselves. Concentrate on top dwellers. Some apollo sharks or Chalceus erythrurus can be added.

i agree w/ the last poster about the convicts spawning. they do, in fact, spawn very often and are very protective. space wise, you could put something else in there. although if the fish you listed are full size, that's about a full load. since they're still small, you could afford to add more in the short term but be aware that in the long run, something may need to come out.

I would add a pleco and skip the cons...

I agree about the convicts being a bad idea.
I had a breeding pair in my 55 gallon with a adult tiger oscar and a Jack Dempsey.
When the convicts spawned they had the other fish backed into a corner and took over the whole tank!
Had to get another tank for them. (that was easy to take though :) )

you could add more fish, but I'd stay away from cichlid pairs.
