I have a few questions about acaras.

How many types Of acaras are there I know three:
Brown, blue and red breasted Acaras is there any Other True Ones.

Also I was wondering if I could make An Acara Tank By putting Just acaras In there? Good Idea Or not?

How big a tank are we looking at? how many males and females? which type?

I'd say if the tank is big (50-100) and has plenty of hiding areas, you could keep 3-6 acaras in the tanks, respectively (given that their max size is 6").

however, that is just my general rule. acaras get snippy (seriously) with eachother, especially males towards females. At least thats what my BlueA's did.

they are fun to keep tho. I liked breading mine, but they got too aggressive towards eachother. out they went.

btw, dont know the answer to the first question.
