Hi everyone well i have a 29 gallon fully cycled now for a couple of monthes and want to know if theres room for more fish in their...heres the list so far....6 red eye tetras....4 white skirt tetras....one pleco...and one catfish....the catfish is about 4 inches and will get to eight...so do i have more room or is this about it for now? and also does anybody know the name of a pencil like fish thats long and has a pointy mouth thats long and eats live fish ? just wonderin the name i saw it at a lfs and was wonderin if anybody had one or experience ...for a new tank i was going to setup in the future thanx

Is it a common pleco or one that grows large? If so I would say you'll need a bigger tank in a years time.

I would say that the bottom of the tank is really full and might max out the bioload. There does seem to be swimming room left for some top level fish like maybe some peaceful dwarf gouramis or the like. Or else just add to the exisiting schools for exciting big schools!

The long fish might be a common gar. It looks pre-historic, but IMO, I see no 'aquaria value' to have one. That's just me though, since I've seen thousands thru the years here out on the waterways fishing...
